Pokémon Gold and Silver is a great game which has 100 new Pokemon, and 2 new types: Steel and Evil. Old Pokémon have new evolutions, like Onix into what you know as Diamondix. Seadra and Scyther are other examples of Pokémon who have greater evolutions. The most famous is Yadoking, which evolves by trading

There are also some Pre-evolutions of Pokémon, for example, Pichu is the pre-evolution of Pikachu. Lots of ruimors are there that Pikablu is the evolution of Raichu, or Elekid is the Pre-evolution of Electabuzz.
These are TOTALLY FALSE! Same as Charcoralt and Sapesaur(The said evolutions of Charizard and Venusaur)... THEY DO NOT EVEN EXIST! Marill (Pikablu) is a Pokémon by itself, not an evolution. the "Pika" in it's name has nothing to do with Pikachu. And, there has never ever been a Pokémon with 4 evolutions
Some Pokémon need to be traded to evolve, and they need to be equiped certain items, like the Metal Coat on Scyther and Onix to be evolved when traded.
In conlcusion, Pokémon Gold/Silver are great games,and it's worthy to buy them!
