These are not exactly cheats... But here they go: MissingNo. First Talk to the man in Viridian City that shows you how to catch a Weedle. Say NO to his question, and watch him catch a Weedle. Then FLY to Cinnabar Island and SURF up and down on the east coast where it looks like half land and half water, until you encounter a Pokémon. It will either be MissingNo., or a Pokémon of level 150+ that you cant catch it anywhere else(Like Porygons and Alakazams)
When you encounter Missingno. Just run from it. Catching it may ruin your game. If you have some luck, you will have 125 of the items on your 6th slot. Also if you catch Missingno., You will have unlimited balls of the kind you used to catch it.
The Pokémon Nursery Trick The trick is: each step you take, is one EXP point your Pokémon Gains
The Ghost Computer There is a ghost computer in the hotel in Celadon city. Just walk east intil you hit the wall, then north 2 spaces, then press A and Boo! there's an invisible computer!
Make any Pokéball work as a Masterball When you throw a Pokéball, press Hold Up and press B repeatedly and the Pokeball will close tighter. Then, while still holding Up, press A repeatedly. This will almost always catch a Pokemon (It doesn't work with Safari Balls)
Make your attacks stronger While your Pokémon is attackinf, press A repeatedly: Your Pokémon will do more damage.
Catch Safari Zone Pokémon out of the Safari ZoneFirst, go to the Safari Zone, and stay in the grass area where the Pokémon you want is, until you run out of time. Then FLY to Cinnabar Island and SURF up and down the coast where Missingno is. Eventually you will fight Safari Zone Pokémon of the grass area you were into. No Rock Throwing, No bait, No Safari Balls! It also works with grass areas outside the Safari Zone, but it's most frequently used with Safari zone. That coast, is the only place you can fight ground Pokémon, and is actually a bug, same as Missingno.
